Have you heard people talk about vision boards? You might think "Why do that? I know what I want, I don't need a board."
The truth is, we are all so busy. We constantly get distracted by life! Vision boards are an amazing tools to help clarify, concentrate and maintain focus on specific life goals. When you make a vision board, it becomes a powerful visualization tool that can help inspire you towards your goals and dreams.
The first step is asking yourself "What are my ultimate goals and dreams?" "What is it I want?" You can ask yourself this in all areas of your life, or just one specific area that you are focusing on. Really think about these questions. Sit quietly, set the intent and come from a place of kindness and openness. Maybe words pop in your head, maybe images.
Next steps making your vision board! Making your vision board is always fun!!!! Use images that represent your purpose, your ideal future and words that inspire positive emotions in you! There is beauty in simplicity and clarity. Keep it neat, and be selective about what you place on your vision board. Keep your board uncluttered and un-chaotic. By doing this, you do not attract chaos in your life. I like to write dates on my board. By adding dates I truly send out my energy, commitment and desires to accomplish these goals. It also helps me record my growth, awareness and expansion so I can reflect back on all my accomplishments!!!
Finally, hang your vision board in a place where you see it often. Look at the board, see yourself getting to that place. I love to take a few minutes before I go to bed and look at my board. It's a great reminder before I go to bed of where my life is headed....in the direction that I choose!
