Little kids with ear discomfort???

Image result for pictures of doterra melaleuca, lavender and basil

One of the most common things I get asked is what oils support ear discomfort.   I absolutely love this question because we struggled so much with this when my daughter was younger.  I also love this question because it means people are open to new ideas to help comfort their kids....or themselves, with oils!!!

When my daughter was just over a year old, she had so many issues with her ears.  We were in and out of her pediatricians office.  I felt so powerless and wished I could help her.  After finally getting tubes put in her ears, and falling out shortly after, is around the time I discovered dōTERRA essential oils.  I am SO grateful we found them.  We have yet to return to her pediatrician regarding her ears since!

These are my favorite to help easy any ear discomfort:

  • Melaleuca- place 2 drops on a cotton ball.  Then place it over the opening of the ear.  You can repeat this 3-4 times a day.
  • Lavender- You can put one or two drops diluted around and behind the ear- NOT IN!
  • Basil- Dilute 2-2 drops around and behind the ear - NOT IN!
NEVER PUT OILS DIRECTLY IN THE EAR.  When putting around a child's ear, always dilute.

Please contact me if you have any questions!!!  I love to share all about these oils!!!!
