Dry Skin Brushing

Image result for Pictures of dry skin brushing

Have you heard of this yet?  I saw this term popping up everywhere and couldn't figure out what it was all about.  So I decided to jump on the bandwagon and give it a try.  I am SOOOOOO happy I did.  It's now part of my daily routine.  Our skin is our largest organ in the human body!  One third of your body's toxins are excreted through the skin and dry brushing helps to unclog poured and excrete the toxins that become trapped in the skin!!!

At first I thought it would just really help my skin, look silky, soft and feel good.  But it is more than that.  Do you know this routine can actually help your blood circulation?  It can help your body detox itself naturally.  In addition to that, the benefits of brushing can also help get rid of cellulite!  By brushing your skin, you help release the fats and toxins that are trapped just below the skin  which is your cottage cheese  cellulite.  Dry skin bruising unclogs your skins pores and helps your skin absorb more nutrients.  Daily skin brushing promotes healthy breathing skin!  It's our largest organ, lets give it a treat!!!

So let's get started!!!  Get yourself a good dry brush (you can even order one from amazon).  Get in your shower before you put the water on, brush your skin for about 2 minutes, making sure you stroke the brush towards your heart.  Start at your feet and make your way upwards.  Sometimes I like to add Frankincense to my brush, but you can add whichever oil (or no oils) to your brush.  After you brush, start the shower. I like to alternate hot to cold to really stimulate the blood circulation and bringing more blood to the top layers of the skin.  Remember to clean your brush once a week with warm water and soap and leave out to dry.  Try this for 30 days......you won't be sorry!!!

Let me know how it goes!
